This was a convo I just had with an HP tech support. I think they're competing with EA for the coveted "Worst Support of all D**n Time" award. It took me 40 f****** minutes to find out what RAM speed a laptop supports...

It's a pretty funny read. Enjoy :)

hahaha...epic! That's a good read! For some strange reason I associated an Indian accent with Mr. Arjun...is that wrong :p

Haha, that made me laugh :D

You will probably find if you could speak Indian he would of got the answer quickly.

You can tell by the way he writes that there is a lack of communication skills, it is not necessarily because he has no idea :p And in all fairness, the guy is only reading what he's been told off a sheet and doing his job, he will be told he needs to get the serial number off you.

^That still doesn't excuse the fact that he sucked at being a customer service rep...I mean he didn't even listen to Baez when he told him he was purchasing it, that he did not have it yet, and that he needed the RAM specs, not the processor. If you work as a customer service rep for a major computer company, then you should know the difference. Or, if you are in charge of hiring employees for a major computer company, you should make sure the people know the difference between what RAM is and what a processor is.

Ugh, I would have given up way earlier in that fight Baez haha you have patience!

lol, it's quite clear he had some problems with english verb tenses.

i've learned that if you ask to speek to their manager or someone above them and start yelling or TYPING IN ALL CAPS you get the info you need alot faster :D
