mmm every time I tryed hibernate my audio didn't come back until restart. I havn't tried it on this install yet, but it must be something I use or disable because every version of windows standby and hibernate has never returned my audio.
dude, it takes 15 seconds to enable hibernation from the time you click start, control panel, power options, hibernate, click it, and hit ok. ill even time myself
and how do you figure that? hibernation is pretty much a standby, but its completely off, no power consumption. the data in the ram is stored to the hdd, and is restored on reboot.

you are confusing standby, which the computer is on but in a power saving state and hibernate, the computer is off and anything from the ram is saved on the hd when turned on everything is restored to the way it was.
