Where to start???

I am interested in looking for a job in IT.

I don't know if this is the way to start it but i want to do something like a PC technition.

Example: Building PC's
Fixing problems with PC's (including Hardware and Software)

Where would be the best place to start?(What courses to do)

i started in a votech high school class named computer system technology. this is the equivilant of any A+ & Net+ cert class. My school got me a tech job at a local insurance company, you should try to get a job in the feild even if your volunteering; experience is golden. I liked building networks so i went to a community college and got a degree in computer network engineering. Now, I'm going for my MSCE & MCDBA 2003 track and plan on getting a four year degree in Telecommunications & Information Technology.

I started similarly except all my training was done by reading and studying, you can do it if you want to. It is a very rewarding career!
