I like deer but unless you do not know how to tenderize or marinate the meat, you may have a tough time chewing or break a tooth if your teeh are sensitive and bit weak.

And it can taste "gamey" if not prepared correctly. but it is awesome when it is prepared right.

We used to shoot pigeons around our house with a blowpipe, several youtube tutorials later we ended up with a few (very small) pigeon breasts. First ones we overcooked so they tasted gamey as, next few were pretty win though.
