Can anyone tell me what comes closest to Adobe Dreamweaver for Linux users and if it is possible to use dreamweaver on linux as my searches have not been fruitful and I am used to using dreamweaver.
Thanks

I dont know of a alternative. But you might be able to install it through Wine.

According to this site I found, you can with some configuration settings to administer, that is. Here is the link:

How to Run Dreamweaver CS3 on Linux using Wine | Open Addict

EDIT: It occured to me that I didn't give you the link to Wine if you are interested in using it along with Dreamweaver via the link above, click here for Wine.

EDIT 2: LOL, I see that Mak already did give you the link to Wine. Anyway, as I mentioned and Mak surmised correctly, you can try installing Wine and then use the "Openaddict" link to use Dreamweaver, or so that site claims, anyways. Good luck :)

I would reccomend Aptana studio. It's free open-source and excellent. The one thing it doesn't have is Design view, but with the way dreamweaver messed up code, it was useless anyway. Aptana
