Try replacing it with a freinds for the intrem just to troubleshoot. NTFS 4 dos is a good way to quickly repair the problem (sometimes) http://www.wsdownload.de/download/ntfs4dos/ntfsinst.exe if all of the above fail you more then likely need to replace your motherboad as the ide controller is probably fobar
