Videoplayer keeps jamming

my videoplayer keeps 'jamming' while watching movies.
could it be just a lack of memory on my laptop that causes it or what?

By jamming you mean it's skipping, or stops playing?

Have you tried installing different codecs?

what Video player do you have ? maybe try a different media player
