use joystick/mouse first player shooter

Maybe my post was supposed to have no reference to my gamming ability but rather how the joystick/mouse combo worked for some people, but thanks anyway. If you ever want to play me in unreal tournament or something, let me know, ill see if you can back up your statement

I don't play UT. I only play DOD and I'm sure you would kick my ass. I admit I suck at FPS games but I would suck even worse if I were to use a joystick.

I think it would really depend upon the individual. Even though a joystick may not have been originally meant for FPSs, someone that learns on that could be great using one.

I'm a really good target on UT!

I would have to say that im fairly good at UT, not great, but just good. I can usually tear up the bots on inhuman difficulty on 2003 but usually only masterful on 2004 beacuse the bots seem to be a lot smarter...
