Upgrading my Mousy. :-)

The thing i dont like about my friends mouse, the MX1000, or whatever its called (it's the wireless one that came out before the G7 and they look the same but different colors) is that when i'm playing an FPS such as counter strike, when i lift the mouse up off of the pad, my cursor jumps from one part of the screen to another and it gets me dizzy, does that happen with all laser mice? It doesn't happen with my Microsoft basic optical mouse, that's why i'm thinking about staying with optical...
