Thunderbird 3.0.2 Is Out Sort Of
The next installment of the popular desktop email client Thunderbird has been released by the Mozilla Messaging team. The new releases has not been officially announced yet which is somewhat strange as it has been uploaded to the release ftp directory on February 18 which can be an indication of the following: It could be that the development team is experiencing distribution issues or discovered a bug in the release which made them halt the distribution and release announcement until it is fixed.
Thunderbird 3 users who still want to try out the new release can get it currently only from the Mozilla ftp server to which we no longer link directly out of courtesy for the developers.
