Startup Trouble

When I go to switch on my PC it will begin to load windows, however instead of showing the windows log on screen it will just show a blank screen. It can take 2-3 attempts to get to the windows log on screen, it works fine once its logged in but it seems to have this problem almost everytime i switch on my pc, i've done a repair install of windows and that has made no effect, and updates dont seem to want to install :S

Any suggestions as I would rather not format my system

Can you try last know good configuration? Have you scanned for spyware/viruses?

I'll do a full virus scan but it seems to be more a problem with the OS itself

Well until you can get a clear hijack this log from our Security team i wouldnt say it is the OS itself. As Malware and Spyware will do this as well.

Blasted Server glitches...

I tried to most your HiJack This log t the Analyze area as that is there the Security team reads them. Not in this area. No one in this area is on the ST to read them.
