jesus the three pins are your CMOS reset pins.
you shouldnt have to remove the battery to reset CMOS (please someone argue with me if i am wrong), you should have to move jumper for 3-5 seconds with power totally disconnected...
but you do have to jump the pins...usually 2-3 short normal, 1-2 short reset.
if you dont have the jumper you can use a piece of wire and short the correct pins for a few seconds. you better read up tho and find out which ones to short.
