Hey all. I have an office network of about 10 computers. I just added a MyBook external 1TB HDD to the network. Every computer can transfer and receive data from the MyBook fine, except for one. Its extremely slow. It takes about 3 hours to transfer a file that should only take half an hour. Its not the cable, I tested that. The computer transfers fine to other computers, just not the MyBook. Thanks in advance!

What are the specs of:
1 computer that transfers at a "normal speed" and
the computer in question
(OS, Network cards, etc)

Check the network card's supported bandwidth on that slow computer, see whether it's 10Mbps, 100Mbps or 1000Mbps. You should use the highest supported bandwidth on the network.
Also update the network card's driver if possible, sometimes the problem is caused by driver bug..
