So I want to buy a DSLR. The problem is the camera I have now (canon powershot s120) is really good and I'm worried a DSLR wont be as good. I do photoshoots and low-level equestrian competition photography with my powershot and always get complemented on my 'phototography skills' which makes me want to learn how to take better photos and do more photography with a better quality. trouble is I tend to have my powershot in auto all the time so only have to focus it and I'd want the DSLR to kind of do the same till I learn more? reccomendations?
