I have multiple case fans, one had the wrong connector (so i forced it a bit on a similar one and it works fine).... Soooo do I need to check voltage or anything??? Is this safe??
yep, thats how stuff gets broken. if it works, leave it alone (personal experience, dont mess, i messed and a wire fell off and hit my video card and fried it)
So forcing the 2 pin wire onto the 2 pin prong (plastic piece in way, clipped it) is ok to do then.... Is that way you all are saying... It does work fine..
To check voltages being safe, do you just look at the bios voltage numbers?? Example it'll say 12V then next to it there will be a 12v fluctuating number... So does that mean that you want to be as close to the first number as possible?
Hope that made sense haha...
I now have 7 fans in my computer... Cooling is really coming along now...
3 x 80mm fans (back,top,side exhaust)
1 x 80mm fan (5.25 bay mod intake)
1 x 60mm fan (5.25 bay mod intake)
2 x 50mm fans (3.5 bay mod intake)
