Remote Desktop Connection?

I was wanting to set up a remote desktop connection on one of my computers, so I could access it from anywhere.

Well I reading how to do it on microsoft.com, and I read I need XP Pro to set it up.

Does anyone know how to do this with XP home?

You can use software do do this.
I have used Real VNC before, works good. I dont know much about other companies though

I downloaded it, and it worked great for connections between computers on my local LAN.

But when I tried to connect them via the Internet, it would always say conection failed. Any ideas?

Or any other programs out there?

You can try PC Anywhere also. We have that and have support people that log in from Boston and we're in St Louis.

Yeah, I looked that up, but it was a little expensive. Im more looking for freeware. But thanx anyway.
