Remote Application Launching

Although I am experienced in the hardware side of computers, I am fairly new to networking. How do I launch a program on a remote computer from the DOS command prompt? I don't want to use Remote Desktop Connection. Thanks in advance.

Hmm..you could try telnetting...

EX: telnet 127.0.0.1 (replace IP with proper IP)

However, telnetting has nuthin to do with whether or not the computers are networked together. Other than telnet, I don't know of any other way to do this through the command line.

Let me clarify my question. I want the program to load on the other person's computer. How might I get that to happen?
