I can only imagine what the overclocking abilities of thee new GPU's will be. Plus there were rumors that we will potentially see a 800Mhz core in the near future.

Depends how you look at it...if the ATI cards are able to compensate lost pipelines with higher clockspeed like they plan, a card like the x1800 pro looks like an attractive choice to me since all I have to do is overclock it 100MHz to match the top end card and not have to worry about unlocking pipelines

Especially with water, I think ATI might be my next purchase depending on how things go since the only difference between the pro and XT is vram size which pretty much means jack as far as I'm concerned
