Personally, I would stick with a Nintendo Game Boy DS as the PSP as a $#!+ battery life.

PSP battery life :- Average 2 hours. But up to 8 hours depending on what you are doing.
GB-DS battery life. Average 8 hours.

Some of the PSP's that were released can shoot the UMD's. If you twist the PSP just right, the UMD shoots out of the back, kinda crazy.

but do you notice the difference between the graphics? the ds looks like $#!+.

no. its only 32mb, but u could store some media on it. and save games but thats about it
