I'm not sure where to really put this thread so I'll put it here xD

I have a printer, a HP PSC 1510 all in one, to be exact.

I also have two computers with the drivers installed on both computers.

Is there a way for me to send what I want to print from my computer to the
computer with the printer hooked up to, without having to unplug different plugs and all that mess?

Hello,

You have to have the PC on that the printer is hooked up to and then print over the network after you share the printer.

Cheers,
Mak

Or, if you have a router/switch combo plug the printer into that with the other pc's. Then you won't have to keep the pc (that the printer is currently connected to) on whenever you want to print from the other pc.

Put all of the computers in the same workgroup. Then, on the computer with the local printer connected, share it out.

The computer not directly connected to the printer, go to network places, view entire network, microsoft windows network, etc etc until you find the printer. Right click, hit connect, set as default.

I have 6 computers in the house that can print to the exact same printer.

Although I did not spend 69.99 on a print server, I DID spend 49.99 on a Linksys router. ;)
