Perseid Meteor Shower

Is anyone trying or go to try and watch this? There are supposed to be up to 80 an hour and should be visible anywhere in the northern hemisphere acording to NASA. Guess what ? British weather thats what Cloud, and lots of it. I sat out there for an hour, there was one fairly large area of sky that let me see quite a lot of stars (there was a hole in the cloud cover) anyway i watched it for 20 minutes as it went over and saw nothing. Still it was nice to even see stars, it's surprisingly therapeutic and just reminds you of how insignificant we are

It's 1am which is in the middle of prime time viewing I've heard, i might try my luck later.

There were a few clouds last night, but I saw about a dozen meteors in about a half hours time.

i whatched it and saw several stars that night and loved it.

Same again this night T_T No luck this year for me.

I was right where the red zone is...the tiny little corner of WA that's cut off and I'm in it

Well this is typical the first clear night since the perseids have started, right when they have pretty much dropped down to 1/hour or less..
