I have set default options on my bios and nothing happened, made sure cpu is sitting right and nothing changed, XP cd is in great conition with no scratches.. what i think i gotta do is format the HD... how do i do that.. i know i am suppose to get a 98se startup disk and then do a partition an then format.. but where can i get a 98se startup disk if i have only xp, and how do i partition tyhe drive??..

Thank God is fixed now!!.. the problem was the CD-ROM, some how i tried two different ones and they both were making the pc crash, then i tried a brand new one i got from my frien and it worked just fine!!.. now the PC is up and running.. Yeah BABY!!!
