I have been having an odd problem with my computer for a few weeks, and I am stumped. Whenever I attempt to activate a link (to another website or a download) the screen freezes up for around a minute then returns to the page I was viewing as if I had not activated the link. In order to work most links, I have to manually copy and paste them to my address bar. That isnt a huge problem, but when the link opens a file, it does not respond 90% of the time. I have ran multiple scans with Ad-Aware, SpyBot, and NAV, but to no help. I have had a few other people look at it, and even called up the Alienware Tech Support, which was unable to help. Ive been searching everything I can think of on the internet and cannot find reference to a similar problem (I probably just dont know what to look for).
