New pc build

I have a new build first one and i built with a
amd radeon rx470
8 gigs of ddr4
a msi h110m uatx motherboard
a intel i5 6500
and a stock cooler
with a evga 500 watt

and it wont even power on any suggestions

Now...any lights or fans spin at all? Have you tried without the GPU and plugging directly into the mobo?

Have you triple-checked to make sure all power connectors are inserted all the way, as well as all peripherals (RAM, GPU, etc.) are all inserted fully?

No fans will spin at all i spent 2 hours on msi support and unpllugged the gpu and tried the onboard still nothing

Remove the motherboard from your case, place it on a piece of cardboard, and short the power pins on the front panel header with a screwdriver to see if you can turn on the system. Could possibly be shorted out against the case.

Did you not put any brass riser standoffs on the motherboard tray?

The wattage should be fine as long as it's a decent model of EVGA. I'm running my system off of a 520w Corsair PSU.

Your PSU has plenty of power. The PSU you have may be DOA or another piece of your system.
