yes you would see about 60% increase in performance over a standard raptor but as previously said its much more economical to go with 7200rpm drive

I picked up two 70gb raptors for 32/piece - just wondering what more I could do with them.

I just got a Seagate 640gb harddrive too.

Good deal on the raptors yeah partition them in half and Raid 0 them then put your OS and main games on it (things with loading times) and you will see a good speed boost.
