i have dsl internet with a 2wire router homeportal 1000. Other computers in the house connect to the internet through HomePNA.

I just bought an xbox 360, and i need to hookup a wireless connection to it. I was thinking if there is anyway i can just buy a linksys wireless router, but still be using the 2wire router at the same time?

is there any wireless router that support dsl/cable? i'll be moving in a couple of months and the place im staying at his cable internet.

would it be better to just buy a 2wire wireless router that has homePNA built in too?

is 2wire or linksys better?

Thanks!

You can use 2 routers. The easy way to do it would be to change the ip on the linksys to match your existing router.Eg if your router is 192.168.1.1 make the linksys 192.168.1.3 and turn off dhcp in the linksys in the setup page of the router.then hook it up to the other router but bypass the wan port on the linskys and have the incoming go into port one of the linksys. Then it wil act as a wireless access point.
