Need help with 5.1

I've recently purchesed a DSE A2691 5.1 surround sound system, it claims that you can only use it on DVD players yet I am certain that it is possible to hook it up to your computer but I am not exactly sure how, any ideas?

You need an amp. You need something that will handle the single channel outputs. I have not seen this before on a computer. But I could be wrong. I'll keep looking...

There just speakers so you need to look at the audio leads, are they bare wires or something else......pc's use stero minijacks so you need some minijack to whatever convertors........presuming you have a sound card that can do 5.1 output (3 minijacks= 6 channels, 5 + 1)...unless they have spdif input.
