Hey everybody. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and help me out here.
This is my first time building a PC, and I need suggestions for parts. I only need the computer itself; I already have a monitor (1080p HD), keyboard and mouse. My intent for this PC is to not only game on high settings (with steady ~60FPS on games such as a heavily modded Skyrim, Battlefield 4 (I know, I know, specs not yet released to public), Witcher 2, and other graphically demanding titles) but to record these games with FRAPS and even live stream them at times. I will also need to do video editing for Let's Play videos and game reviews.
My budget is CND $1,100-1,400. I likely want to go with an Intel system. Hopefully, that is enough to suffice for this build, but if not, I may have to make some compromises. If there are any questions I've neglected to answer, please reply and ask!
Thanks again,
- Thorson
EDIT: @PP Mguire Noted, though I'd prefer a quad-core processor on top of a good graphics card (ie Newegg.ca - Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K).
Now I need a bit of help for the rest of the PC (motherboard especially, I haven't got the slightest clue in that field). Links to Newegg (or other respectable sites) are more than welcome (and even encouraged).
