Messed with router, now internet doesn't work properly.

I have a D-Link cable/dsl DI-604 router with 3 pcs hooked up to it.
My browser I'm using is Internet Explorer and Mozilla.

I logged onto the d-link router and tried to open up a port forwarding because I my BitTorrent was downloading pretty slow. After I messed around with it, my internet connection doesn't work all the time. I can get onto this website if i'm lucky. I can get onto yahoo, but many sites out there I can't log onto.


This has been happening for days and its driving me nuts. I am able to get on AIM all day long so I know my internet connection is stable. Its probably a setting that needs to be done. I even tried to reset the router to default mode and I get the same error.

I get the alert pop up of:

<www.website here.com> could not be foud. Please Check the name and try again.



Anyone out there have a solution?

Did you try resetting it to defualt or factory settings?

Alright guys. Its back to normal now, at least I think so.

I updated the Firmware of the D-link from the default 2.0 to the 2.18.

So far so good!
