why? You can make it look like whatever you want, linux is linux is linux. Anything and everything can be changed. 10 or more window managers to choose from, all of which can be customized.

IceWm, windowmaker,gnome,blackbox,fluxbox,twm, KDE, xfce, etc etc lots and lots of choices

No, I turned my taskbar transparent (it's much easier to deal with and still resembles the mac theme with my own little touch )
