I broke off another one of my network cable tabs today. It's not like it's a huge deal, but now I have to get out and buy a new one all because of that stupid little piece of plastic. freaking network cables.

I feel your pain. It's such a small thing and it causes so much of a headache. I've seen you post about TendonUSA cables before, have you ever tried their network cables? They have this extra molding that protects the tab. It works really well.

Just buy a bunch of new RJ-45 ends and a crimping tool and replace the damaged end.
