Installing Windows over Linux

Hello Experts,

Please advice me as fast as possible in this case, please.
I have bought a new Compaq Presario CQ42, but it came with Linux OS.
Now I want to use windows, but I am unable to install it. What should I do? Please advice me on this.

The detail information/specification about the system is
Compaq Presario CQ42-296TX Notebook PC (XG162PA) specifications - HP Home & Home Office products

What do you mean you are unable to install Windows? What problems are you having? Have you formatted the drive so that Windows can recognize it? Linux and Windows do not use the same drive format. What version of Windows are you planning to install? do you have proper drivers for it?
