Heyyo,

Someone said that there is a good and bad revision of hyperx. I'm guessing the more expensive one is the better one.. might want a 2nd optinion.

Alienware Area 51? Yea they are good, except 1. they are Intels. The Auroras (AMD systems) are better. and 2. Alienware is gonna charge u a small fortune for something that you could build for a fraction of the price. Ur paying a huge premium for the alienware name

I know u said u cant build a computer, but if u have common sense, a screwdriver, a pair of hands, and a motherboards manual, u can build a computer.

If ur going to buy a computer though...to an american id recommend www.monarchcomputer.com , but i dont know if they ship to canada

Lol common sense, that is a hard one to find nowadays :p

And yes, alienware isn't even worth it, they are just wayyy too expensive.

Heyyo,

You can get some crucial ram, that's good stuff. If you want the flashiest ram made get the crucial ballistix tracer ram. :)

Bad choice.

ASUS is not a wise decision with AMD64, they continuously have problems.

Go with MSI, Giga-Byte, Abit, Or... the forsaken DFI's...(They arn't bad, just as good as the rest just I don't like them).

ncix prices are a bit high.. i heard they do price matching. try checking out prices at cancomputer.com ; they have good prices, but i heard they're horrible at honoring their warranties, etc. you might want to use it to price match with ncix. are you from Vancouver? im not sure if you have to go to the actual store to use the price matching... you should email them and ask.

im gonna put together a computer too... i only have CAD$700 tho... but im still gonna get a good gaming comp.. but gonna have to scavange around for HD, case, fans, etc.. if you were putting together your own stuff... you would get a really nice gaming computer for $1300... but no point in saying that since you're a nub. hehe good luck
