Turns out the some of the ports on my router actually do crossover correction. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks Ethereal_Dragon, if I had a crimper and some connectors I would definitely go that route but as things stand now I'm lacking tools and pieces.
I don't think my (shitty SpeedStream 6300) router has that type of correction built in.
I was hoping for a client side software solution here but looks like im out of luck. I guess noone has ever bothered to write something like this as its easier to get the right cable.
