Anyway, scan with Ad-aware like abhiace9 said. If it doesn't detect it then try spy catcher express http://www.tenebril.com/downloads/ . I used it beofre and it detected some things that ad-aware/spybot/MSantiSpy couldnt detect. But look over the list of detections carefully, it might detect something you need such as a dll file that is needed for a program.
If that doesn't work, also try spyware doctor or Spy Sweeper.
Try all of the above suggestions. You can also use Spybot if you want. It's free. Do you know the spyware's file name? If you know it, then use the built-in Windows search function and delete the responsible file from the search results.
well i tried all those things havin them already installed on my laptop, but it just didnt go, so i forced to reformat, and well that worked so i'm home free
