I think the most I hit was about 175 and that was on a computer that was so infected I had to install adaware off a CD. That was on a computer at your work? not good my friend.

Lol, I didn't take a screen shot, but I just cleaned one of my sister's roomate's computers and she had 687 items!!

That thing was a beast. Running WinME. When you booted the system you got at least 3 popups, 2 ad bars on the desktp, a daily horoscope, weather bug and some weird chat program.

After cleaning a lot of it, I ran SpySweeper (most thorough program I've found) and it removed 125 more items :/

I still don't have it quite up to part, but its one heck of an improvement from what it was!

It's not so much where they go. It's that they click yes to all the "if you wish to view this page you have to click yes" bullshit thats out there.
