We have just purchased a new building and just had a new broadband line fitted. The problem is the data network has been removed physically by the past occupants. There was a box, perhaps rack, patch panel and they are all gone. Plus the RJ45 cables have been cut. Luckily we have a data network engineer fitting the data network back, but what do I need to tell them so that we have have broadband on our network?
I am not much of a network bod, but in the rooms it shows there are points in the room showing two rj45 sockects per point. We would hope that if a computer was connected to one of these points, then they can pick up the internet.
Thanks in advance
