There is a FEAR Beta going on. Only subsrcribers at Fileplanet, plus their affiliates (so im assuimg IGN, Gamespy) can download. If ur a subscriber (im not ) go DL it

Hmmm... Let's see, $6.95 for 1 month or $49.95 for a year.
I think may-be a month will be fine to beta test F.E.A.R...

It kinda looks like you need to PRE-ORDER F.E.A.R to download the beta version...

This is the multiplayer beta right? well, the beta has been going on for some time believe it or not. at least 2 months.

I know the single player game won't be like that though

yeah it was me, you dont need to pre order just as long as your a subscriber, the gameplay is awsome, but its the graphics thats are Eh at best.

But we will have to see when the full version comes out

Except for the particle systems, your right. the graphics sort of suck.

I can't stand the character models, they look like plastic action figures, no wrinkes, no cheekbones, no distinct features, just the smoothest, most plastic skin ever. just look at the picture here, the woman looks like something out of a toy box, no expression or convincing features about her, the black guy also looks like a plastic toy (especially the face) and the white guy just looks like crap.

In run and gun games you hardly get close enough your enemy to really see the cheekbones and whatnot, I thought the trailers and screenshots looked amazing considering that the game is not finished yet.
