Elder's Scroll Oblivion System Requirements

I've got a 1.7GhZ Pentium M and a 9700 Radeon Mobility 1GB of ram too. Will i be able to play oblivion at lowest - lowmed settings or so?

If it helps:
My laptop is has
Athlon 64 3200+
1.25gb ddr ram
64mb ATI 9600 (dedicated)

It runs Oblivion on low settings. Largely I suspect it's because my vid card is only 64mb and Oblivion is a very video intensive game. You'll be able to play it on higher settings than my lappy I'd think.

Only 64mb obviously isn't helping you, but even if you had 256mb on that particular card I really doubt you'd see very big of a difference.

it says on the techlapreqirments whatever site that i can't run it coz its needs a 2.0GhZ Processor. but is that really nessecary?

Depends.

You might be able to pull it off with a 1.8 Ghz Pentium 4...but if you are talking about Celeron, dont even touch Oblivion.

I wouldn't. I doubt it would be able to run on it, spesh if its any type of Celeron. Save your money.
