Does Anybody have Cichlid fishes?

I used to have sum oscar's,my big one was 10 inches he would would go through goldfish like there was no tomorrow,and i had about 10 or so baby's until my friend's were wrestling around and knocked over my tank, about a week later i found a dried up one on the floor and i thru it in my other tank and about an hour i came back and the little guy was swimming around

Theyre really smart right? I've heard of oscars that play with stuff. I've also heard that they like to rip the plants out and toss them around and shit.

I used to have to put my hand in my tank about 2 or 3 times a week to
rearrange the tank, the god damn thing used to just trash the tank, i only got bit once and that was enough, had to start using the net and trap him in the corner while i cleaned up the tank, thank god they don't have teeth like a phirana.
