Can this hard drive be saved?

Oh well, that's what I was afraid of. I guess I'll make sure it REALLY is unrecoverable now.

I had a similar problem with my hard drive; I managed to eventually reinstall windows on it, but it died on me again taking its data and some data of a neighboring hard drive with it.
Kill that disc before it causes any more emotional or phisical harm!!
