It's becuase you dont have 2GB of ram.

On ultra high settings, BF2 uses 1.3 1.4 GB of ram. Even though the FPS your getting right now is fine...

Medium and low settings are a diffrent story.

Yeah you'll be fine playing it. Try to keep particles, terrain and detail on low, but always ALWAYS leave geometry on high.
