Best Router?

I am wanting to know what the best Gigabyte router is for wireless. I am looking at the D-link dir-655, but is that a good one, I want the WAN to be gigabyte as well, just wanting some other opinions.

WAN speed depends on your ISP and will be nowhere near 1Gb/s. You might have been talking about WLAN which is faster but also nothing like 1 Gb/s. Note that 1 Gb/s is slower than 1 GB/s which is what you seemed to be asking for.

this is a great router, i almost put it up there along with the N, but it doesn't have gigabit wan.....

I have been happy with Dlink.

Just stay away from Belkin or Lynksys. Been seeing too many of those two brands fail out in the field.

Yeah, I have a Linksys WRT54G. The speeds are decent and it's very reliable, but it gives me problems with my 360 and requires a restart every few days. I wouldn't buy it again.

I use the 655 and it has been nothing but perfect for the 2 years i've had it.
