I know a guy who collects anime and let me tell you he is just riveting when it comes to conversation [sarcasm indicator]

I know you cannot judge everyone who likes the same thing to be the same... but i have seen a lot of anime and it quiet frankly is crappy... maybe if you are japanese and you were brought up on the stuff, but come-on its like sloppyness and poor writing combined... oh fine there are these new CGI type anime things out there... but you put a ribbon on a turd and its still a turd!

I dont think people who watch anime are idiots though... i mean different strokes for different folks... some people collect lint, others do more interesting things... if we were all the same what a boring world it would be... plus some people need to like anime otherwise the japanese and korean street kids would lose their jobs!

but anime porn... come on hentai is the biggest load of shit of them all... oh i want to see a bad drawing of a naked girl... what a turn on... if you need porn that bad at least look at the real thing!

But hey, i dont judge, i only have the personal opinion that anime is crap! Obviously from the responses here there are a few anime fans... and fair play to them... i cant watch the stuff but if they enjoy it more power to them!!!

I've discovered in this thread that if you have a high OPINION on anime, your ok and a great person. But if your OPINION regarding anime is different from these "dumbass cartoon" lovers, then prepare to hear about what a closed minded simpleton you are. :amazed:

so here let me quote my self

We could sit here and talk about why anime is crap because of stupid plot lines , lack of entertainment value, or homoerotic Innuendos or random flying cut-outs, to people with a blue background and white streaming by them whitch we are supposed beleive represent speed and the pathetic facial expressions that make absolutely no sense. We could pick apart how every character in them looks the same or is a robot who looks like all of the other robots or is a F U C K I N G coloured blob of shit. There is however a better way to say why we donÂ’t like AsiaÂ’s excuse for entertainment. and that is simply put it is CRAP
