wouldnt the chip be around 60-70C hot? which would mean if the chip wasnt there it would be around 5 degrees from absolute zero, correct me if im wrong.

I don't think so...I mean, it makes sense, but with such an extreme temperature change, I think it wouldn't matter if the chip was present or not. The cooling is probably that temperature regardless, I think it just took the chip temp with it on it's way down to the -272.

Dunno if I worded that right at all, I can't seem to put words to my thoughts right now, rofl.
