2 partitions, want to make drive 1 partition

Once you have actually used GParted a few times you won't want to spend any money for any retail product. Besides being a partitioning tool you can also copy entire partitions with it from one drive to another. Plus some of the live for cd releases are cross platform for Windows NTFS and Fat16/32 as well as Solaris and OS X plud being native to Linux.
 
its not like anybody actually spends money on retail products anyway xD

and yeah it was just like it was a hassle to do a fresh install cause i had all my updates and antivirus and drivers installed and I didn't wanna start fresh, but thats just what I ended up doing.
 
I've been there before especially when the first board on the new build here simply went doa after only 3 days of use. It seemed to be working and everything had just been updated and then wham! GParted is still a great tool to get familiar with in case you want to split a drive, resize to add one in, or simply dual boot OSs.
