Default Windows XP Professional 64 Bit

How much does it cost. Is it worth it? Can I still run 32 bit programs?

$150, yes if you have a 64-bit CPU, yes as far as I know. Personally as close as we are to the release of Windows Vista I would wait and see what the requirements actually are and how much it will cost as I am sure there will be a good amount of support for this newere platform rather quickly.

Vista is the new windows OS. Yes, windows makes it. It does require a 64-bit cpu, and it also has HD hybrid mode which will save battery life for notebooks. Thats pretty much all i know about it, but u might want to look around and try to see what the repuirements are.
