Hello, if you look at this pic, it is a page up/down scroller;

When I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, it has made this go funny.

It is CONSTANTLY scrolling up, making my laptop useless.

Any ideas? cheers.

im not 100% sure, but when i installed windows 7 on mine i had to download new drivers for everything , u can try that download a new driver ?

Hey, cheers for the help guys.
I can't find the driver though..?

It's an Acer Aspire 5315 Laptop.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

I looked on the Acer website, and it only gave me 3 drivers that "Windows 7 doesn't have" and none of 'em were mouse kinda drivers?

Cheers.

You need the Touchpad drivers. Try the Vista ones. It may work on 7. As there are no 7 drivers for it.

Note: You should always check for drivers before updating to 7. Some parts may not work correctly (personal experience)

vista drivers worked perfectly for my laptop the whole time 7 was in beta, for something like the touchpad, i would expect the drivers for vista would be just fine.

So could someone point out which one?

I downloaded some ALPS driver thing, installed and it stops the problem, until I reboot, then I have to reinstall.

Could it be because I didn't remove the old ones?
