Win 2000 pro -> Win Xp

hi,

Now i using Win 2000 , i wish to upgrade to wiN XP ,if is ok that i just install Win XP ? I mean overwrite the win 2000..or i have to do others things?

If you insert the Windows XP CD and choose install you will see that there is two choices. Upgrade and Full Install. If you use upgrade it keeps all of your files and setting that you currently have.

Well then either do a new install or boot from the cd and you willbe fine. It will ask you if you want to setup XP on the same partition as 2000, proceed forward and overwrite it and then it will start to format the harddrive. That's all.Just follow the instructions as the install goes.
