Office Xp activation

I bought a copy of Microsoft office xp long ago. My Main computer crashed and now I wait for the warranty techs to fix it [it has been almost a month now]. So I went out and bought a laptop. The laptop does not have office on it and I need for work. After installation, I tried to activate it and it told me that it has already been activated and won't let me do it again. Does anyone know how I can activate office xp without Microsoft getting involved? cough cough ..... a patch .... cough cough

call them up and tell them your hdd crashed and you need to reinstall it and they will help you out
